Once Micro® had created the Maxi prototype, they sent samples all over the world and asked kids to 'sidewalk' test it. The tests told Micro® what they needed to know -- the kids wanted the pilot steering, not the t-bar (it's more fun, and actually easier). With feet pointed to the side, it really creates the feel of skateboarding! Our test group also said they wanted the lightweight feature of the Mini Scooter to be repeated with the Maxi. And, they wanted to be sure the maxi would be durable enough for them to use every day (and durable enough to hold up when all the other kids ask to try it out -- it does!) The Maxi, now with the cool pilot steering, really curves and carves!
